Schedule your recordings!
Using its scheduled recording functionality, AlchemyTV DVR can
schedule as many recordings as you wish. Time, date, channel, video
format, etc... are all fully configurable, giving an extensive control
over your recordings. The capture size is fully user selectable, ranging
from quarter size to full screen mode, depending on the speed of
your processor.
Thanks to its iCal integration, scheduled recordings will be displayed
in your calendar. Advanced users can even program their recordings
in iCal!
The full QuickTime supports allows you to choose the right video
codec for your recordings. If you wish to edit the capture
programmes and export them to VCD or DVD, Motion-JPEG is the
right choice. Alternatively, the new MPEG-4 format will give you great
picture quality and reduced space requirements making it easy to
store on your hard drive.
Connect any analogue video source!
The composite, S-Video, TV/Antenna connectors allow you to capture from virtually any analogue video source, like
a VCR, DVD player, camcorder or straight from your TV aerial of course.
Simply select the connection type you wish to capture from with the Alchemy TV software and press record!
View TV in the Dock!
AlchemyTV DVR can be minimised to be viewed in the Mac OS X Dock. You can even keep watching TV while
working in other applications!
